Welcome to Scouting Ireland's campsite at Fota Island, Co. Cork. The Centre is open to Scout and Guide groups who are members of WOSM and WAGGGS, it is not open to the general public. 

On the following pages you will find information on Fota Scout Centre's facilities and availability, how to make a booking using the online form and programme ideas for your group while staying at Fota.

Covid-19 Update 12th March 2020

In light of the Irish Government announcement on 12th March re the closure of educational institutes and restriction on the size of gatherings, Fota Scout Centre will be closed until 20th April. We will review our opening date at the end of March based on advice issued by the Government and HSE at that time.

Groups that were to be staying at the Centre between 12th March and 20th April 2020 have been contacted. If your booking is for a date after 20th April please contact us if you require further information.




2020 Availability Update (27th Feb 2020)

Avenue campsite (30 people max) - May 1st to 4th
Avenue campsite (30 people max)  - June 26th to 28th
